ACSO also deals with corruption in the CSO sector. We have established processes to help make alleviate the problem.

    • Study working relationswith other departments and create conditions for strong and consistent working relationships;
    • Support monitoring performance;
    • Drafta formal code of ethics that can answer to operational gaps;
    • Develop a system that can ensure the confidentiality of whistleblowerscoming forward about misconduct and corruption;
    • Perform periodic research on issues that may improve practices topromote ethical practices;
    • Prepare training documents that can enhance the ethical mindset of the agency’s staff;
    • Prepare Code of Conducts and train employees accordingly;
    • Provide awareness training to the staff on national ethics and anti-corruption policies, rules and regulations;
    • Provide awareness training CSOs that are legally obliged to register their assets and financial interests to ensure that they are registering their assets properly,
    • Form experiences that enhance ethical practice;
    • Ensure that the institution's Code of Conduct as well as the country's anti-corruption laws and regulations are followed;
    • Scan foroperational gaps identified during follow-up sessions and suggest solutions to the supervisor;
    • Monitor the impact of awareness raising trainings on ethics and anti-corruption policies, regulations and guidelines;
    • Accept and investigate allegations of misconduct by employees and any violations of rules and regulations;
    • Identify appropriate corrective action and submit it to the decision manager and
    • Monitor actions taken on problems caused by misconduct.
